Our primary location is in Mesa, Arizona. We have over 60 instructors across the Country to offer classes around the United States.

Some locations only offer Blended or Virtual courses. Other locations are for private clientele. Our Arizona and Nevada locations offer both public and private classes for all disciplines.

Community Responders is an authorized training site for the American Heart Association (AHA), Licensed Training Provider for the American Red Cross (ARC), Authorized Training Center for the Health and Safety Institute (HSI), and training entity for the National Association of EMTs (NAEMT). 

We are an approved Training Provider for the NREMT as well as being authorized to teach FEMA courses as more than one of our trainers are certified instructors through the Dept. of Homeland Security. We are a licensed Educational Licensee through the Dept of Defense (DoD) for the Stop The Bleed Program. We are currently conditionally licensed by the Arizona private postsecondary education department (azpps) to offer vocational training programs. 

We also have our own in-house courses and training programs that follow the most current guidelines as outlined by partnered training entities. These courses are OSHA compliant and available for CEU's for EMR, EMT, AEMT and Paramedic refresher training.

 No prior experience is needed for most courses like BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED. However, ACLS and PALS courses are intended for healthcare providers with prior medical knowledge and experience. 

 Yes. Our certifications are nationally recognized and accepted by hospitals, medical facilities, licensing boards, and employers across the United States. Please note, however, that some locations require one accreditation over another (For example, some locations require ARC while others require AHA, and others have no restrictions).

All NAEMT, AHA, and ARC cards are digital and will be delivered via email. HSI and in-house courses can be provided as physical cards.

 Yes! It is highly recommended to complete a renewal course (also called a recertification course) before your card expires to avoid lapses in certification. 

 Blended learning combines online coursework with an in-person skills session. You complete the online portion at your own pace and then schedule a hands-on skills check with a certified instructor. 

Certain courses and accrediting bodies require an in person session for skills testing if you are completing an online course. Please verify that any course that you would like to take aligns with the requirements of your school/employer. 

We have many online-only class options, however certain classes (like AHA ACLS and PALS courses, or ARC CPR courses) require an in person skills to be in compliance. 

Although we offer online only courses for some of our options, we HIGHLY recommend attending an in person skills session. We do offer these free of charge for our 100% online classes to help students become more confident.

We are not responsible for any sign ups that are not approved or accepted by your school/employer. Please contact us first if you are unsure if a specific class meets your needs.

We do not cancel classes due to low registrations. For certain classes that require additional people to complete skills, we include extra instructors to assist the student in completing their required practice.

 The AHA specifically requires that every student has access to the course textbook before, during, and after the class. You may purchase a printed copy or an eBook when you register. 

When possible, we may have books available for loan for certain classes.

 Yes! We offer onsite training for businesses, clinics, schools, and other organizations. Contact us to schedule customized group training sessions. Discounts available for larger groups

We are unable to refund fees for online/blended training courses once the video link has been registered and issued to you. If you are a healthcare professional and require training for your employer, be sure that you select the correct accreditation based on what your employer accepts. We are not responsible for certifications not accepted by your employer and no refunds will be given after the certification is granted. Refunds requested for classes not cancelled with advanced notice will incur a fee, as cards for certification and training materials are prepared in advance. A cancellation fee of 50 % will be retained if a refund is requested up until 24 hours before class. No refunds for cancelations within 24 hours of class. We will gladly reschedule your training as needed without a fee at any time with exception to our no call/no show policy.
